Classification of date by type
It refers to a ripe date which the moisture is below 18%.
Semi Dried Dates
It refers to a ripe date with the moisture between 18% and 20%.
It refers to a ripe date with the moisture between 20% and 23%.
It refers to a ripe and juicy date, which the moisture is between 23% and 38%.
Raisin is sweet and tasty dried fruit that is produced by driying grape. Based on types of grape the raisin has different colors. Pistachio is one of the important oilseeds. Its components are the kernel and crust. Crust includes a firm portion called shell and a soft upper portion called hull. Pistachio Kernel includes a green shell that has a sweet taste.
Pistachio tree have long been cultivated in different parts of Iran. The wild pistachio forests in the northeast region of Iran and in conterminous areas with Afghanistan and Turkmenistan have an ancient background; it seems that pistachio tree has been domesticated and cultivated around 3 to 4 thousand years ago.
The first pistachio varieties in Iran were obtained from cultivation and domestication of wild pistachio trees. They were very limited in number and in appearance were similar to wild pistachios. Gradually by grafting and changing these varieties and consideration of farmers regarding sizes of pistachio kernels new varieties emerged.

In commercial view there are different common sizes for pistachios which displayed in 20-22 form as an example. This means that in this type 20 to 22 pcs of pistachios are available per ounce. The lower number indicates the bigger size of pistachio.
